Brent BeckettI am proud to announce this year as the Tenth Anniversary Year for Slim Famous. Slim Famous has constantly evolved during this time making the question of 'what exactly do you do?' a challenging one to answer. What I do is unique and uncommon, but I do it for a very common reason. Everyone has an idea they believe has value. Making the second most common question I am asked: 'Can I pick your brain?' In addition to countless conversations about business and product development and helping dozens of entrepreneurs launch their products and start a business I have been asked to teach the fundamentals of entrepreneurialism to college students, consult with executives on how to restructure their companies, write monthly editorials, conduct seminars in high schools, be an advisor to young professional organizations, guest speak on radio and television programs, judge invention contests and 'coach' a group of business 'coaches.' Knowledge has become the most demanded Slim Famous product.

Regardless if we are creating fun dog toys, high tech Internet products or speaking to a group of ambitious high school students the basic objectives have remained at the forefront of 'what I do:

Cowboy CoastlineWe are starting this year with focus on the Slim Famous Original idea for The Cowboy Coastline. Life-long influences inspired this brainstorm five years ago, but only now is the essence of this brand clear and the timing right. We are very excited and confident The Cowboy Coastline will be our most successful product line yet.

Think What You WantWe are STILL THINKING and 'Think What You Want' continues to receive overwhelming consumer interest and media attention. The thought provoking line was featured in the 'Portsmouth Magazine' Christmas guide and the 'money' section of the 'Portsmouth Herald.' It has also been accepted as a feature product at the famous Minturn Market in Colorado. Originally conceived as a universal logo for Non-Profit organizations such as Alzheimer's, Autism and cancer it is our objective this year to align it with one of these important organizations.

Lemonade2010 will bring about Brent's first book 'How To Run A Lemonade Stand: The Simple Squeeze On Starting A Business.' The concept of the book stems from his original approach to helping entrepreneurs fully understand the brand development and business start up process. Brent's writing and reputation is earning him invitations to speak to students and business people throughout New England. One teacher recently commented how 'amazing' it was that her students grasped the lemonade metaphor as it pertains to simplifying business.

NetbloxWe immediately embraced the concept of NETBLOX as a new technical device and properly determined the brand development strategy that created international attention within six months. After out start in February NETBLOX had caught the attention of cable companies including Comcast and Cox, professional athletes and the Red Sox Organization, politicians, lawmakers and a broad spectrum of the media including P.C. Magazine. Several companies such as Life Lock and Net sweeper pursued buy-out and partnership possibilities. NETBLOX is currently in private negotiations.
